Check why an email or notification did not arrive

Review the recipient, message type, preferences, and available delivery channel.

Before you start

Account-security emails, business messages, and customer reminders can follow different delivery rules. Availability depends on the channel enabled for your workspace.

Start with the recipient

  1. Check which email address the invitation or account action used.
  2. Check spam and junk folders and look for the newest message.
  3. For an expired invitation or recovery link, request a fresh message through the supported action.
  4. Avoid repeated resend attempts; wait for any retry guidance shown on screen.

Check the channel and preferences

Review your notification preferences. Browser push also needs permission on the device you are using. An in-app notification does not prove that an email, SMS, or push message was sent.

Customer communication can depend on consent, quiet hours, and the channels enabled by the business. A template or reminder setting alone does not establish that external delivery is active.

What to tell Support

Provide the message type, approximate request time and time zone, and whether an in-app notification appeared. Share a visible reference if there is one. Do not forward password-reset links, invitation links, or authenticator codes.
